Entry Fee:  $2.00 per entry
No late entries. (Cage space may limit entries)


PRIZE MONEY:   1st - $5.00    2nd - $3.00     3rd - $2.00

Class Champion: $10.00; Reserve Class Champion: $7.50;
Division Champion: $15.00; Reserve Division Champion: $12.50;
Champion in Show: $50.00; Reserve Champion in Show: $35.00
Junior Show Champion: $25.00, Reserve Junior Show Champion: $20.00
Each exhibit will only receive their top prize money. 

RULES:
Completed entry forms and entry fees must be in the hands of the Fair Director by Thursday, July 29, one week prior to the show. Mail entry forms to Box 195, Coombs, B.C. V0R 1M0, drop at fair office, or email to entries@coombsfair.org
Entry forms must be completed as to section, division, class and breed.
All birds must be purebred with the exception of Division F.
All birds may be caged Thursday 3:00-9:00pm. Judging begins at 8am Friday.
Exhibits to be judged by the American Association Poultry Standards. CLOSED JUDGING
No diseased birds permitted in show. All lousy or diseased birds must be removed by owner.
No exhibits or displays to be removed before 5:00pm on Sunday the last day of the Fair.  Anyone removing displays before 5pm will forfeit prize money.
All breeds and varieties to be judged separately.
All birds must be owned by the exhibitor for a minimum of 30 days before showing.
Cage space may limit entries.
No 4-H birds in OPEN EVENTS.
Classes will be provided for all breeds provided that there are AT LEAST 5 or more birds in the class.
There will be NO prize money unless there is a class. See rule #12 re Classes.
Prizes will be awarded at the judge’s discretion.
Exhibitors of species listed on the Migratory Birds Convention Act, 1994 must have appropriate permit(s) in place to enter birds.
POULTRY: All birds entered as Cock (C), Cockerel (KL), Hen (H), or Pullet (PLT). Please specify Single Comb (SC), or Rose Comb (RC), Bearded/Non-Bearded.
WATERFOWL: All birds entered as Old Drake (ODR), Young Drake (YDR), Old Duck (OD), Young Duck (YD), Old Gander (OGR), Young Gander (YGR), Old Goose (OG), Young Goose (YG)
TURKEYS: All turkeys are to be entered as Old Tom (OT), Young Tom (YT), Old Hen (OH), Young Hen (YH)


DIVISION A: Standards (Large fowl) 
Classes: American; Asiatic; English; Mediterranean; Continental; All Other Standard Breeds (AOSB)


DIVISION B: Bantams 
Classes: Game Class; Single Comb Clean Legged (SCCL); Rose Comb Clean Leg-ged (RCCL); All Other Comb Cleaned Legged (AOCCL); Feathered Legged


DIVISION C: WATERFOWL
Classes:
Ducks: Bantam, Light, Medium, Heavy
Geese: Heavy, Medium, Light


DIVISION D: TURKEYS


DIVISION E: GUINEA FOWL


DIVISION F: QUAIL
F1: Old Male            
F2: Old Female    
F3: Young Male
F4: Young Female


DIVISION G: FAMILY GROUPS AND UTILITY
G1: Hen and Chicks 
G2: Duck and Ducklings    
G3: Layer – Any breed or cross breed or age, but must be laying.
G4: Meat Bird – Any bird under 1 year old.
